LFB gets quite a few questions about our new derivative product which is new in SL.
As a consequence we like to share a calculation example with you we just wrote down for a potential investor.
Title(weight)-------share price
-------------------weighted average
-------------------last 30d.....today
=====================================
HCL(10)------------2.61---------3.00
RDX(10)------------2.62---------2.31
BNT(10)------------1.01---------1.00
AIC(10)*-----------1.18---------1.70
SLM (2)------------1.56---------1.4
AMA (2)*-----------1.10---------1.12
=====================================
Total(weighted)----79.52--------85.14
*= data only available for <30 days
The reference portfolio grew over the last month with a factor of
(85.14):(79.52)= 1.0707
or in other words 7.07%.
An investor in LFB would get a dividend of 7% (maximum) on his investment for the last month. Of course we believe that the basket will continue its development in a similar way in the future...
As soon as LFB is traded we will always do our calculation for the 1st of each month. The weighted averages will be taken from the boards (WSE, AVIX) and the end value of the shares will be taken at 12:00 am SLT.
Please, don't hesitate to IM me if you would have any questions.

LFB - Changement
Our calculations show us that we were to conservatif with our estimates in relation to the future growth of our reference basket.
As LFB is still in the IPO process, we will adopt the conditions:
a) the max. dividend paid p.m. will be increased from 6 to 7%
b) we drop the 3% commission
The prospectus has already been adopted accordingly, please compare.

NAV - update
We saw a turbulent week with the creation of two new stock exchange markets (Dreamland, AVIX) but also important movements in certain titles. This shows the volatility of the market and encourages us to follow more seriously our path we already predefined with our first derivative- LFB (enlisted as IPO at the WSE) we created just 10 days ago.

WORLD STOCK EXCHANGE HOSTS UNIQUE NEW OFFERING

WORLD STOCK EXCHANGE HOSTS UNIQUE NEW OFFERING
On Sunday, May 20 the World Stock Exchange (WSE) approved the issue of an initial public offering (IPO) for a new type of exchange traded security with the potential to bring SL stock investing within the reach of thousands of new investors. Known in finance circles as a “derivative”, the new vehicle, LEM Future Basket, offers investors the opportunity to participate in a portfolio of 6 WSE listed stocks in a single transaction. The 100,000 available shares are priced initially at L$10.00 and will trade under the symbol LFB once the IPO is fully subscribed. The term of the investment is one year.
The new security was developed by Lemur Invest (WSE/LEM), an investing and investment banking company. Designed for the investor with limited experience or interest in selecting and trading individual stocks, LFB shares pay a monthly dividend of 2% (26% APR) with the potential for an additional 4% per month based upon portfolio performance over each preceding month. In addition, the shares are capital protected and investors will receive 100% of their initial investment back in 1 year upon expiration of the shares.
“This product is designed for the average investor who may not have the skills to trade for himself or who prefers to minimize his investment risk through diversification,” said Lemur CEO Casper Trebuchet. “The initial offering is invested in WSE blue chip stocks such as Hope Capital Ltd (WSE/HCL), Allenvest Investment Capital (WSE/AIC) and Brautigan and Tuck Holdings (WSE/BNT). But we are already working on other products.” Asked to comment on the risks of investing in stocks on SL’s unregulated exchanges, Trebuchet added, “The WSE is very volatile at the moment, and we believe that products like ours will bring stability and transparency. LFB shares are well diversified and can be traded freely should an investor need to dispose of them early. I think the future for such products is bright and they will help to bring a higher level of professionalism to the markets.”
Lemur Invest (http://wselive.com/research/prospectus/58) provides investment banking services to SL companies, including loans, direct equity investment and business consulting. Lemur also invests directly for its own account in WSE listed companies and holds current assets of about L$4 million. The LEM Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to financing environmental initiatives within SL, is supported by donations of 10% of profits from the investment company. LEM closed Monday at L$0.90 bid / L$1.11 asked in WSE trading.

derivatives? a possibility to have capital protection AND..
participate on the value increase of top class shares which are quoted at the WSE.
We all know the problem. The majority of the shares which are traded at WSE have the following history record. Their values rise just after the IPO is finalized then drop till the first dividend announcement are made and finally when reality is showing up decline to a share value which is below the IPO price.
More than 50% of the shares at the WSE have a track record as described!
Ok, you can trade but you need a lot of time to do so and also insider knowledge. Not everybody can claim that for himself. Understand me well, I believe in WSE! But a SL-life as trader requires not only some skills ;-) but also time ..a lot of time..and time is money.
We want to offer serious investors a unique vehicle to overcome this problem - the derivatives.
In finance, a derivative is a financial instrument that is derived from an underlying asset's value; rather than trade or exchange the asset itself, market participants enter into an agreement to exchange money, assets or some other value at some future date based on the underlying asset (after Wiki)
LEM created a derivative which consists of a basket of different shares which are quoted on the WSE and in which future performance we strongly believe. If you buy parts of it we not only pay you a monthly guaranteed dividend but we also let you participate in the future development of the basket.
However, we don't directly invest into these shares! The shares in the basket serve only as reference for the calculation of the investor's dividend. We use the LEM business model to invest the investors money in highly profitable businesses.
Your investment is protected capital so that if things turn for the worse, you get your money back at the end of the predefined period.
The derivative is traded on the WSE as Lemur future basket (LFB)on the IPO board.
In other words, if you want to earn good money with your investment but still like to have a deep sleep without any WSE-nightmares and even find time to enjoy SL-life then you should consider our product- LFB...

NAV - update/ shareholder meeting
Dear all
we hold our first shareholder meeting in our new offices at White Mall Island yesterday . Let me summarize the outcome.
Status:
=======
We are on track with our different business activities:
a) Investment. We manage actively an important portfolio of shares quoted on the WSE which is contributing to the stability of our assets. We also started to invest in different SL projects in order to diverse our portfolio. Main focus at the moment is given to real estate. One example is White Mall Island, others are in evaluation.
b) Investment banking. So far we developed three products. Loans, equity/venture capital and deriviatives. For loans and equity/venture capital we offer interesting conditions. We acquired already first customers and plan to expand this business.
On the deriviative side we are proud to have developed the first product within SL. It is a basket with 100% capital protection which combines security together with predefined fix dividend as well as capital gain. On May 20, LEM future basket got its approval as IPO under the name of LFB. We see a lot of potential for such products in SL.
c) Business support. A main topic of LEM is to bring RL companies into SL. We haven't realized a project yet but are in negotiations with different companies
d) Environment: We created Lemur Foundation recently. 10% of our benefit goes into this NPO which is financially supporting environmental initiatives within SL. The foundation is also open to the public. Different negotiations with environmental groups are ongoing. Projects are welcome at any time.
Financials:
===========
Assets: 2'200'000 $L (value of own shares not included of course, we control 80% of the stocks)
Number of shares: 2'000'000
NAV : 1.10
NAV decreased slightly mainly caused do to investment in different new projects and as well through a slight decrease of share prices.
Dividend:
=========
We plan to pay a dividend on 1st of July. After that dividends will be paid quarterly only.
Our main objective is to maintain a balance in between share value increase and dividends we pay. The dividend we pay shall be 50%. The remaining rest of the benefit will be reinvested.
Next steps:
===========
We continue to consolidate our different businesses. First priority have our new derivative products, then the management of our real estate and finally to bring RL companies into SL.

First deriviative in WSE : Leverage your investment but with 100% capital protection
Dear All
We happily announce that we just got the approval for our newest product LEM future basket (LFB).
LFB combines the possibility to have capital protection which is unique in SL and nevertheless participate in the increase of share values.
LFB consists of different shares which are quoted on the WSE and in which future performance we strongly believe. If you buy parts of it we not only pay you a monthly guaranteed dividend but we also let you participate in the future development of the basket.
Your investment is protected capital so that if things turn for the worse, you get your money back at the end of the predefined period.
To be more concrete if you buy shares for 10 $L each you will get 10 $L back at the end of the predefined period. Furthermore you receive each month an interest of 2% p.m. which is fix plus a bonus of max 4% p.m (totally max. 6%). calculated as weighted medium of all share values in the basket and over the last 30 days. (further information you also can take from our company profile LFB).
The basket is traded on the WSE as Lemur future basket (LFB).
Don't forget to join the shareholder meeting of LEM tomorrow in our offices in White Mall Islandon May 21 at 7:00 pm SLT, see below. We will use this meeting to give more information about the new product.
Hope to see you soon

First shareholder meeting, IPO, NAV
Dear all,
A week with quite a bit of changes is lying behind us.
The first concerns our successful IPO at the WSE in SL which by surprise (we didn't expect this) passed within two hours and then also our move into new offices.
The first event was an interesting experience and we thank everybody very much who supported our company. On the other hand it may also be sign that environmental questions are not totally abundant in SL but have a potential to be developed. We will try hard to contribute to this with LEM Invest and our other companies.
The second is still a pain in the neck as time consuming, also we like the new place and offices quite a lot. Come have a look
White Mall Island, Saya Sakai Inc (79, 119, 43).
Nevertheless our NAV rose to 1.12
We will hold our first shareholder meeting on 21th May at 10pm PST on white Mall Island (see above). Everybody who is interested to learn more about our company and its future development plans is welcome.
